Crossroad of Sid

Crossroad of Sid is an odd RPG/board game combo where you can control a group of heroes whose mission is to save the World of Sid. To do so, of course, they'll have to face endless hordes of enemies.

The game system in Crossroad of Sid is quite like a board game – so much so that you have to use a dice to determine how many boxes your character moves on a turn. If during your move you cross into an enemy's box, it'll spark a battle.

The battles in Crossroad of Sid happen nearly automatically. Your heroes and the enemy monsters both attack automatically, but you can activate special skills for each character at any time. Rolling these skills out often spells the difference between victory and defeat.

Between each phase you can visit the town of Sid, where you can recruit new heroes to your cause while buying and kitting yourself out with new weapons and armor.

Crossroad of Sid is quite an entertaining SRPG with pretty graphics and a relatively original gameplay.
